An Open Day to Explore: To those staying at the resort, take this time to unwind and enjoy San Diego at your own pace! Before we officially tie the knot, the day is entirely yours to soak up the sun, explore the bay, or simply relax by the pool or water. The Rehearsal Dinner: Following your afternoon, the Wedding Party and out of town guests will gather for a rehearsal /welcome dinner.

The Big Day: The moment we’ve all been waiting for! We can’t wait to celebrate with you as we finally make it official and "Cruise into Forever."

Farewell Brunch: One last toast before you head back home! Please join us for a relaxed brunch at the resort to share our favorite memories from the night before and say our final goodbyes.

• Time: 12pm

• Location: Oceana Restaurant (Catamaran Resort)

What is the dress code?

We ask that our guests dress in Coastal Formal attire. We want you to feel elevated, stylish, and comfortable for an afternoon by the bay into an evening of celebration!

• Women: Flowy or structured floor-length gowns, chic midi dresses, or dressy tailored sets. Vibrant colors, tropical prints, or classic neutral tones are all welcome!

• Men: Tailored suits, blazers with dress trousers, or sleek linen-blend suits (tie optional).

What footwear should I wear for the beach ceremony?

Our ceremony will take place directly on the sand on the Catamaran's bayfront beach.

• We strongly recommend avoiding thin stiletto heels, as they will sink right into the sand.

• Great footwear options include: Block heels, dressy wedges, stylish flats, formal sandals, or dress loafers.

• Note: We will have a shoe valet/station available near the beach entrance where you can slip off dress shoes or wipe off sand before moving inside for dinner and dancing!

What will the weather be like?

San Diego weather along Mission Bay is typically beautiful and sunny, (expect 75-80 degrees F) with comfortable coastal temperatures during the late afternoon. However, once the sun sets over the water, the bay breezes can bring a cool evening chill.

We recommend bringing a light wrap, jacket, or blazer for the evening if you tend to get cold easily.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony will take place outdoors on the beach. Afterward, guests will move nearby for cocktails, dinner, and dancing.

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration (with the exception of our immediate family in the wedding party). We appreciate you making arrangements in advance so you can relax and enjoy the night with us!
